This seems rather
tricky and scary to me at first but then I thought about it and smiled :)
Q: How many times have
I tried to write my own love story???
A: Hmmmm quite a number
of times.
Q: And how did that
go???
A: Always ended in a
disaster.
Q: Why??
A: Because in most of
those relationships God wasn’t in them. Here is the thing if you’re starting something and
God isn’t there it’s a waste of time and chances are you will fail or struggle
through it. This is what God says about starting things short of his presence.
Psa 127:1 Except the LORD
build the house, they labor in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the
city, the watchman waketh but in vain.
Then came the word ….
“For as the heavens are
higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts
than your thoughts.” Is. 55:9
Jer 29:11 for I know the
thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of
evil, to give you an expected end.
The amplified version puts it like this:
Jer 29:11 for I know the thoughts and plans I have for you, says the LORD,
thoughts and plans for welfare and peace, and not of evil, to give you hope in
your final outcome.
With words like those who can ever doubt his love? Remember my previous blog about ‘love in truth’ I said God is love and him being love he knows the deeper meaning of love and in knowing that he
knows what would be your perfect love story in his eyes (NOTE: NOT YOUR EYES BUT HIS EYES)…

2:2 as the lily among thorns, so is my love among the daughters.
The writer (Solomon)
was inspired by the Holy Spirit to write this part of the book and up till
today no love song, movie, poem spoken word can be as dreamy as the words in
song of songs.
So how much more can he
who inspired the Holy book write your love story??
Trust:
believe in your maker and his timing, he knows your desires , wants and needs but you need to trust that in God's perfect timing things will unfold and come to pass.
There is beauty in God's timing Ecc 3:11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.
Patience:
Let him fashion you and increase your capacity to take in a relationship. Take your
time in waiting, your love story has already been written it is the
manifestation that’s to take place.
Growth:
Grow in love with Christ.As you grow in love with him (christ), and he/she grows in love with christ the closer both of you get together. Think of it as a triangle God at
the top n both of ya’ll at the bottom while you both grow spiritually you get closer together.
So here’s the thing it’s all done just trust
God, don’t be worried about a single thing because his word is alive.He/ She have been set apart for you; there is no rush. :) Let God teach you how to love like he loves and how to let him be the foundation of your everything.
Let him change your
heart so that when you actually get into a relationship it will not be because of
loneliness but because of the love that God has kept in you for him/her. Also as the letter above states, 'When your love for God is more than that of your spouse/spouse to be your love for each other will not run out' and
most importantly to complete purpose. Seek him and he will reveal his purpose
for you concerning your life and relationship.
Mat 6:33 but
seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things
shall be added unto you.
So feeling lonely reach
out to God…
